I do not recommend this map unless you cannot find one of my other recommendations. Although this map is clear,
and easy to read, the points of interest on the map are in Thai using English characters which is meaningless to most people unless they already
know the name of the place where they want to go. In other words you cannot browse the map to locate places that may be interesting to you. The
only indication of an interesting place is the placement of an icon at the designated spot.
On the map that I recommend, the Thailand Highway Department Map, when there is a waterfall
or elephant camp, the map specifies the name of the waterfall or elephant camp in English and also in Thai but using English characters for the
Thai words.
On this Nelles map there is no simple way to know what the attraction is. |
